Several QC students will be honored in October 2023 with the QC Academic Excellence Award. When asked if there was a particular professor who made an impact on them, several recipients singled out members of the History department. Tzippora Applebaum (Macaulay History major) cited Sarah Covington; Wanda Harris (Art History) cited Carol Giardina; Gianna Palumbo (History-Social Studies 7-12) cited Tracey Billado; and Deborah Tulloch (History-Social Studies 7-12) cited Fidel Tavarez.
